APPEARANCE: Nero’s probably the shortest of the DMC protagonists thus far, sitting at around 5’10” with a toned figure in comparison to Dante’s 6’+ and tank build in 4. He shares the same white hair and blue eyes of the other Sparda descendants, but his eyes are a deeper blue compared to the ice-blue of Dante and Vergil. His face is slightly rounder than the Sons of Sparda, more likely to show his youth in comparison to Dante. Outside that, the other main distinguishing feature of his is the Devil Bringer, where his right arm has become demonic – covered in a blue and red pattern, as well as glowing in certain places. In canon, the glow has increased in strength when in the presence of strong demonic forces, therefore acting as a demon detector of sorts.

His outfit consists of a dark muscle shirt under a sleeveless, hooded red vest, which in turn is under a blue and red jacket that reaches to about his calves, blue jeans, and boots. The insignia for the Order of the Sword is sewn in red thread on both sleeves, which are also rolled up to his elbows (sometimes he rolls the sleeve down on his right arm if he doesn’t want the Devil Bringer to be exposed), and he also wears a leather bracelet and two rings on his normal left hand.
